just need to vent.
So its 5 am Cash just went back to sleep..for about the 6th or 7th time. He's teething so bad but there isn't much I can do.
The constant crying has gotten to me. I know its not his fault but I'm starting to just have these horrible thoughts. I just want him to stop crying, its just so hard.
ITs pretty bad when your sitting there crying along with your kid.
Its sucks because right now I'm pretty much home alone with him until 3 when my mom gets off work. I'm pretty sure I'm loosing my marbels.

the teething process doesn't last long dude. hang in there!!! seriously, once it's done he'll be an angel again and it's all be rads
lol only 2 more years..thats about how long it takes for the full set.

oh god! I know that feeling! When I was in Italy looking after the baby I too nearly started crying when he wouldn't stop crying.

those are the moments when you can understand on some insanely horrible level why people abuse their children. but like kiki said, if you question your sanity, then you're sane. if crying along with him is what you do, you're doing good. have you tried anbesol or some kind of teething cream to soothe his gums? or wrapping your finger in a cloth diaper and letting him chew on it? or putting ice in a baggy and wrapping a thin towel around that and letting him chew on that?

thanks everyone for the support. I've tried everything beebs! I've even gone back to giving him rice cereal instead of wheat in case he's glucose intolerant and its not the teething at all!
I don't even know anymore..last night was a little bit better he would wake up and cry but then wimper out and go back to sleep. So I just pray it gets better.
You know, a but of rum on the gums helps.
Okay when the boy I was looking after would not stop crying it was actually his stomach. Poor thing was constipated. His diet had changed and we upped the amount of water, juice, baby cammomile tea (yeah you can buy it!! so cute) and then he seemed to be okay. So maybe you could try that.
the dave- nah, home moonshine is where its at :P (just kidding!)
Cherry- The tea might help settle him but he usually wakes up with a full diaper lol.
