Well its not really an apendage, body part, eyes are what I look at first. Most girls would say butt although its pretty hard to have a meaningfull conversation by looking at someones butt.
i'm going to go with hands - you tell a lot about a man by his hands... hygiene, work ethic... then eyes - they are the window to the soul...
